GAMEPRO LIVE

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions about GamePro Live.

Getting Started

What is GamePro Live?

GamePro Live is a platform that connects sports leagues, tournaments, schools, gyms, and camps with certified local officials / referees. League Members post games, and Officials / Referees pick up assignments that match their sport, location, and schedule.

Who can use GamePro Live?

Anyone organizing sports games can sign up as a League Member. Anyone qualified to officiate games can sign up as an Official / Referee. Platform administrators manage verification, payments, and support.

Is GamePro Live free to use?

Yes — creating an account, browsing available gigs, and applying to assignments is free. League Members pay a platform fee only when posting games. Officials / Referees keep the rate they earn per game.

For Leagues

How do I post a game?

After signing up as a League Member, go to the "Post a Game" section, fill in the game details (sport, level, date/time, location, rate), and publish. Once your game is live, verified officials / referees can apply.

How are officials / referees assigned?

You can review applicants, view their profiles and ratings, and confirm the officials / referees you want. GamePro Live also supports automatic fill when the required number of officials accept a game or series.

What happens if a game is cancelled?

You can cancel a game from your Games dashboard. The platform automatically notifies all confirmed officials / referees and cancels their assignments so no one is left guessing.

How do payments work?

League Members pay a platform fee at posting. Officials / Referees are paid out after the game is completed and confirmed. Payouts can be processed through Stripe Connect or manual e-transfer, depending on your region and setup.

For Officials / Referees

How do I find games to work?

Sign up as an Official / Referee, complete your profile, set your sports and availability, then browse "Available Gigs." You can filter by location, sport, level, and rate.

What does Verified mean?

A Verified badge means the official / referee has completed ID verification and any required certification checks. Leagues often prefer Verified officials for competitive games.

Can I accept multiple games at once?

Yes. Series postings let you accept all games in a series or a minimum number, depending on the league's requirements.

How do ratings work?

After a game, leagues can rate officials / referees on Game Control, Rule Knowledge, Communication, and Professionalism. Your average rating is shown on your profile and helps you get hired again.

Pro Features

What do I get with Pro?

Pro unlocks priority gig alerts, advanced filters, verified badges, performance insights, and enhanced profile visibility. Leagues also get premium posting tools and analytics.

How much does Pro cost?

Pro is billed monthly. Pricing is shown in your account when you choose to upgrade. There is no trial — billing starts from day one and continues until you cancel.

What happens if I cancel Pro?

You keep Pro access until the end of your current paid period. After that, your account returns to the free plan features.

Cancellation & No-Show Policy

What happens if I cancel a game more than 24 hours before it starts?

Nothing is charged. You give a reason, the assignment is withdrawn, the slot reopens for other officials / referees, and the league is notified. The cancellation is noted on your record.

What happens if I cancel between 8 and 24 hours before the game?

A cancellation fee of 25% of your scheduled game pay is added to your balance. The dialog shows the exact dollar amount before you confirm.

What happens if I cancel less than 8 hours before the game?

A cancellation fee of 50% of your scheduled game pay is added to your balance. Verified emergencies can be reviewed and waived by an admin, but the cancellation stays on your record.

Does GamePro Live take a fee from my game pay?

Yes. A 10% platform service fee is deducted from your gross game fee when you're paid. A $50 game means a $5 fee and $45 to you. The breakdown is shown before you request or accept a game, and on your Earnings page. Cancellation and no-show fees are calculated on the full game fee, before the service fee.

What happens if I don't show up?

The league can report a no-show. Nothing is charged until an admin reviews the report. If it is confirmed, 100% of the game fee is charged to your balance.

Can I cancel after the game has started?

No. Once the scheduled start time has passed, the withdraw option is removed and the assignment moves to check-in, close-out or no-show review.

Where do I see what I owe?

Go to Earnings and open the My Balance tab. It shows your outstanding balance, a full ledger of every charge and payment, and a running balance.

How do I pay an outstanding balance?

By Interac e-transfer to the address shown on your My Balance page, using the reference/memo listed there so we can match your payment. An admin marks it received and your balance updates.

Can I accept new games while I owe money?

No. Requesting, claiming or accepting assignments — including direct league invites — is blocked while your balance is above $0. Everything else on the platform stays open to you.

What happens when I pay off my balance?

Eligibility restores automatically as soon as your balance reaches $0. No admin unlock is needed.

What if I think a charge is wrong?

Use Dispute Charge next to the transaction on your My Balance page. Give the reason and any details; an admin reviews it and can waive, reduce or reverse the charge.

Does paying a fee remove the cancellation from my record?

No. Money and history are kept separately. Paying, waiving or reversing a fee clears the balance, but the late cancellation or no-show stays on your reliability history permanently.

Who can see my reliability history?

Only GamePro Live admins. Leagues see the same performance information they see today — ratings and completed games — not your cancellation history.
